Moonflower was born from the meeting of four musicians with a desire to combine the dreamy atmosphere of string instruments with the evocative power of the pop song. The line-up — vocals, guitar, violin and cello — offers a journey through effervescent atmospheres: from the timeless swing elegance of Mina and Paolo Conte to the refined international pop of Norah Jones and Elton John, through to the dreamlike visions of Vinicio Capossela. Not missing the gritty blues of Ivan Graziani and Ray Charles and the groove of Stevie Wonder and Pino Daniele, nor singer-songwriter pop — from the Beatles to the acoustic energy of KT Tunstall — all enriched by “hidden gems” rediscovered through original arrangements.
