Our environmental commitment
From 2023, Notte di Fiaba no longer features the fireworks display on the lake.
This decision also stems from the desire to make the event increasingly sustainable, reducing its environmental impact and protecting the lake, the surrounding area and its wildlife. Fireworks release pollutants into the air and water and can cause severe stress and disorientation to both domestic animals and wildlife.For this reason, and for other organisational, economic and safety considerations, the Associazione Manifestazioni Rivane has chosen to invest in new forms of entertainment and participation — continuing to create memorable experiences while respecting the environment and placing the protection of the lake, the territory and all who inhabit it back at the centre of everything.
Sustainable mobility
Even the right mobility choices can make a difference for the environment: when possible, choose public transportation, and if you live nearby, you can always walk or bike. If you choose to drive, you can park in the exhibition area and take the Rivetta shuttle bus to the center. From August 27th to 30th, 2026, it runs until midnight! The energy used to run the events is 100% renewable, certified with a Guarantee of Origin.
Drinking water and fountains
We encourage the use of drinking water from our local water network as a sustainable and responsible choice, with numerous environmental and social benefits and no need for single-use plastic bottles! There are many fountains in the centre of Riva del Garda, and others - like the one nearby - have been installed in collaboration with Ags SpA to promote the use of our local, km0 water. You can check its quality on their website.
Eco-friendly merchandise
Starting this year, the Associazione Manifestazioni Rivane has decided not to sell plastic bottles at its stands in Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Tre Novembre. Thanks to a partnership with TecnoDrink, both stands will be equipped with microfiltration systems that remove impurities, chlorine, and microparticles, ensuring pure, light, and better-tasting water. To access them, simply bring your Notte di Fiaba water bottle or purchase an exclusive glass featuring the new graphic design inspired by fairy tale posters from the past. This glass can be refilled at will throughout the event.
