Fast-paced rhythm, skillful use of color and textures, and strong narrative ability. The dynamic images, extremely balanced in their use of positive and negative space, offer a contemporary yet faithful interpretation of Salgari's world.
Skillful technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail. The warm color palette evokes the sepia tones of old photographs and interprets the text with a nostalgic feel. The poetic tone is amplified by the use of bold perspective compositions and an elevated viewpoint.
Original experimentation that creates a good synthesis between different techniques, unified by a very personal style. The excellent color palette demonstrates great courage in using a graphic color like black. These images blend both Salgari's real world and the world of his characters.
