The Jury of the 1st International Illustration Competition Notte di Fiaba met on the afternoon of Saturday, 3 May.
Following a careful review of all the works in the competition, Livio Sossi, Fausta Orecchio, Svjetlan Junakovic, Gabriel Pacheco and Giovanni Pellegrini unanimously declared the winners and awarded the special mentions as follows:

For the intense expressive power, the bold and forceful plastic gesture, and the freedom with which the assigned theme was approached, offering a fresh and courageous interpretation.
For the remarkable skill in expressive synthesis and in the handling of the frottage technique, as well as for the masterful use of filled and empty spaces, composed in a perfect balance of forms.
For the captivating poetics of colour, movement and transparency, rendered through a careful use of mixed media.

ll Notte di Fiaba Illustration Contest nasce nel 2014 su iniziativa di Enzo Bassetti, Presidente onorario di Notte di Fiaba, ed è ideato e progettato da Chiara Tomasi, Direttrice Artistica del Concorso, con il supporto del professor Livio Sossi, tra i più autorevoli studiosi europei di letteratura per l’infanzia e illustrazione.
